For the love of House music…

What are we doing?

We’re creating a new house music community in Basildon with its own movement by throwing local parties. Be part of it.

Why are we doing it?

For as long as we can remember, Basildon has never had a regular house music event, certainly not one that appeals to all ages. We have always wanted Basildon to have a house night to enjoy without having to travel into London to hear great music and not spending a fortune for a good night out. We all need to let loose now and then, listening to great music for a few hours and even having a little dance is a gift for people and the DJs who play, no matter where they are in life.

We’re going down the rabbit hole of creating something in the hope all can enjoy.

Simply put, we’re doing it because we love the music, once it’s under your skin, it never goes, and we know others enjoy it too.

We’re working hard to bring you events that all the house heads of Basildon can be proud of and enjoy. Safe nights filled with like-minded people. These are no agg events, and having the right attitude is everything.

This will be a journey, we won’t get it right straight away, and every event will build on the next.

How are we doing it?

We’re based at the Jolly Friar in Basildon, testing out Friday nights and Sunday day/night event days. If the weather’s good for our Sunday event, then we’ll be bringing the party out onto the terrace. Please come to both, say hello, get involved, and let us know what you think of both parties. Chat via our socials; we’d love for you to contact us and talk to others you meet at the events. It’s all about bringing people together and enjoying the music.

Where are we doing it?

At the Jolly Frier in Basildon. If you’re local, you know exactly where it is. If you’re not local, the address is The Jolly Friar, 118 Whitmore Way, Basildon SS14 3JT. Google Maps

It’s a 5-minute Uber or taxi from Basildon train station. Walking would take around 40 minutes, so we do not recommend it especially as there are some busy dual carriageway roads between that would require crossing. We want everyone to be safe both coming to the events and going home.

Who are we doing it with?

We are 5 close friends. Some of us used to DJ regularly in London back in the day, and others always played at local parties. Either way, we all love the music and just want to throw great parties in Basildon, connecting with like-minded people and enjoying the music together. If you relate, come. Meet us.

Let’s see where this rabbit hole goes.
